A new generation of social-first creative content makers requires an agency that reflects and understands their values, attitudes and creative flair. Being a traditional Swiss production agency, Boutiq Films wanted to create a sister company in order to attract and appeal to the younger generation of film makers. BOOM was born.

REPRESENTING GEN Z

Working closely with BLUP:GEN, our talent network of cultural change-makers, we explored the values, attitudes and behaviours of the Gen Z content kings to understand what kind of agency and creative community they imagined belonging to. The talent expressed a unanimous desire to showcase their vibrancy, individuality, cultural inspirations and personality nuances.

SCROLL-STOPPING BRANDING

To really standout amongst BOOM’s competitor agencies, the team at BLUP developed a scroll-stopping identity that would undoubtedly capture attention from the next generation of content makers they were looking to attract. An all-encompassing logo, bold neon brand colours, variety of opposing typefaces and a suite of sticker and graphical elements completed BOOM’s visual toolkit and brand identity.

LAUNCHING BOOM (!)

The launch roll-out included a brand new website and social media creative direction, plus assets, boasting the BOOM brand’s eclectic personality and unapologetic swag. To reflect the behaviours and attitude of BOOM’s talent roster, animations and transitions of content on the website were carefully deployed to create a sense of momentum, energy and excitement.
