To promote Adidas's spring 2017 women's running trainer, ULTRABoostX, and make it more appealing to the 'street' runner and urban market.
The BLUP way
To appeal to an urban audience we chose to do the photoshoot based on the streets of London. We also knew that the pink trainer would stand out against the grey background architecture. The raw and rigid concrete magnified the stark contrast against the texture of the trainer and also highlighted that this was a trainer built not only for running, but for comfort. As well as the photo shoot, we produced a dynamic social media animation that was used as an advert to promote the trainer. The aim was to make it punchy, engaging and not too feminine driving traffic through to point of purchase.
